Was it really a win?

Well its been about a week since i blogged about sports or something else but the majority of it does consist of sports. So tonight the mavericks played the miami heat which is the team we lost horribly to sadly in june of 2006 and felt as though it was the crush of the franchise. The game was played being really anticipated by all the mavs fans mostly because the last time the heat came we lost game 6 of the nba finals. The bummer part of this showdown happend less then 24 hours before the game in which a guy named dwayne wade named the “face” of the nba got injured which seemed to be a minor bump but it was as though he portrayed to be a horrible collision.

Se here is my thing on this i think it was rigged to where there coach Riley said for wade to leave and not play so that way when they play us and loose they can throw out that excuse of there team leader falling and not being able to play the same for the rest of the year. I can already hear what Shaq has to say about his captain and the “greatest” player in the league right now can really affect a team. But if you look at the heat roster they still have a good team but not a championship contender. While i was watching the game it looked like the heat just basically gave up while we were dominating them at both ends of the court. It seemed like theyd rather just try for a bit and see what they can get out of it and if they loose they have a excuse anyway. Seeing the mavs dominate went to show that this is our year indefinate and if we dont get it done to take the trophy it will be horrible for the fans and franchise. Honestyly i hope wade comesback i hope the heat bounce back and make it to the finals because i wanna see a rematch but if this injury has him crying more the heat will not give us that rematch and yes they will give the excuse because of there “savior” was hurt.

Lastly i couldnt i wondered to myself thinking could the mavs beating the heat tonight be considered a great win? yes but its somewhat like a double edge sword. We came over them and beat them right but we won without there star player so yeah thats basically my opinion on that…and thats that!

2:18am pointless time to stay awake..

Well yeah its around 2ish and im channel flipping and looking around the web on stuff. Of course i chose to blog for the day/night in this time of the night to where you say ok its late but really i should be sleeping and getting more sleep time for myself so i can wake up earlier rather then sleep in and waste half of your day. But i happen to like sleeping in and sleeping even if it sounds a bit lazy i consider it a hobby of mine. If i could choose what to do for a day id sleep sleep sleep…..then get up and go pee of course.

On to other stuff geez this anna nicole media circus is ridiculous but yet entertaining mostly because everyone is trying to figure out who is the father of the baby. My money is on that Prince if i loose that bet i lost..i guess. On to other stuff ,i was watching espn tonight and saw them show the mavs highlights of them dominating the rockets which was amazing on how much team work they have shown just perfectly and i hope that will be shown from april to june! So sportscenter went to the subject about how dwayne wade stating that “dirk is the reason why the mavs lost in the finals and he is not a true captain etc..”. My personal opinion on that in non-biased terms is a travesty on how dwayne wade can say that i mean come on now you dont hear dirk saying  statements like that why? because he is a classy guy..that thing what wade said can open a door to showing how much of ego is growing slowly because of his nba “trophy” and getting all the calls. The great thing about all this is that the mavs so far in 50 games as of today are 41-9..which is the top 6 best records ever in the nba history and were preety much right under the bulls in the glory years and celtics in there dynasty error. Amazing how much we have bounced back and how Dirk has really stepped up his game to a different level. The great thing about it is not only he is in the different level but the whole team is a different mental state of mind of just getting that trophy.

Well its the weekend getting close to the middle of febuary and already crunchin in with school and such. Im thinking about getting a yacht or boat someday in the future possibly 10 years and sail through the pacific till i hit a european country. Soon as i have enough money i will do that but for right now it doesnt hurt to plan it.  Anywho i was watching cnn today and noticed in a show called the situation room which comes on like 4 i think if i remember. I noticed how much that show knows how to make it feel as if the end is coming and global war is going to take place its crazy but good to watch because the hose just knows how to keep you wondering whats going on??? but its just another day in the news with adding the suspenseful music.

the OPENING!

To mark the opening of my blog on wordpress which somewhat resembles xanga very much. I start out by saying/writing about this year so far which has had a number of shockers and somewhat dis-beliefs. The big thing is since i live in dallas is the hiring of a new dallas cowboys coach which is named Wade Phillips. A coach with a track record of loosing horribly in 1999 against the tennesse titans with a miracle. It is somewhat ironic that he left in the head coaching position with a stunning lose like that because the year after the firing of him happend but here is the odd thing. See the cowboys had lost in a stunning lose as well so how equate is Wade with the boys? I think fairly so because he and the cowboys team lost in the wild card in preety much the last minute. The ironic thing is that its as if he and the cowboys are  equate at the moment with each other and i do believe this could either uplift the team or just give them another chance to having a ok season leading to yet another horrible loss.

Now with a lighter note with sports in 2007 the dallas mavericks have yet to find a challenge in the regular season throughout the nba. The teams they face are either above 500 or in the top 8 in both conferences and they yet still not have respect from the nba/david stern or espn which is the most respected sports channel due to its “wise” analysts in all around sports. The thing with espn is that i have noticed is that the respect level for the mavericks is little mostly because of our bad 4 game in a roll lose in the nba finals. That could be a reason but we have conquered the one step we werent able to do in the 25/26 year franchise. Im thinking the only way to get more of respect level is of course winning the finals and bringing the trophy home,but the just the one thing i cant stand are all these rules inside the lane calls and much phantom calls which the majority of them are due to dwayne wade. I mean why give one player so many phantom calls and endorsing him as the next michael jordan! Come on now there will never be another michael jordan and i hope in the future there will never be. Jordan will be Jordan and Wade with be Wade period! The frustrating thing is that espn loves to praise him as possibly the next MJ…horrible just horrible!!!

Im not typing this out of bitterness of the finals of 06 with the heat beating us due to help with the refs. Im just speaking the opinion possibly not the facts but we are all entitled to a opinion. Now that i have covered the main sports objectives in dallas on to this school semester ordeal of mine. Im beginning to realize that the adjustment to getting more classes then the usual 2 is better and gives me more of a feel of working hard. The tough thing is possibly the one class i go to with a big number of students so it makes it tougher to ask my teacher for help or even information but im getting used to it.
